The best thing we can do for our athletes is make them stronger. Not only do stronger athletes perform better, they are more confident and harder to injure. In our gym Strength is King. Our strength training focuses on relative strength, how strong you are pound for pound. Atomic Athlete strength sessions are designed to increase an athlete's strength without adding mass or size.
Our strength training is designed to give the athlete a bigger engine, our work capacity sessions aim to increase the horsepower of that engine. Short but high intensity training sessions increase the athlete's ability to perform more work in less time.
Harder to Kill:
Mentally tough and durable athletes are harder to kill. With mentally challenging work capacity and stamina sessions we create a mental armor in the athlete. Many obstacles and challenges in life begin to seem not so difficult, our athlete's hardest days are in the gym so when they face them in real life they will be prepared. To make them durable we integrate joint mobility exercises, correct poor movement patterns, increase core and stability strength, and increase total body strength giving them physical armor to compliment their mental armor.
